You have read Richard Wright’s story, viewed the infographic from StopBullying.gov, and analyzed the two. You are now ready to combine these sources with an article about bullying in order to provide an analytical written response.
Read the “Even popular kids are bullied in high school, researchers find” L.A. Times article below. As you read, continue to look for and record evidence about the topic of bullying, as well as words that indicate the author’s purpose in writing the article and that convey details that give factual or expert information. This time, you should also observe for details that connect the article to Wright’s story, “The Rights to the Streets of Memphis,” and the infographic, “Bullying: What You Should Know.”
